Application for Reception Class 2024
If your child was born between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020, you can apply for a primary school reception year place from 1st September 2023.
All application forms and any supplementary forms must be received by 15th January 2024.
All application forms should be returned to Wandsworth Council and Sacred Heart School.

Note:
Nationally from September 2000 children attending a Nursery school do not gain automatic admittance into Reception.
All parents wishing to apply for a Reception place will be required to make a new application in the following academic year.
Admissions to Hilary House ASD Base are through Wandsworth SNAS only.
There is no admittance to Hilary House via the mainstream application process. Application are for the mainstream reception classes only. Applications for the ASD resource are handled by Wandsworth Special Needs Assessment Service. There is no access for mainstream children to the Resource Base.

Parents applying for a place at either school in the Federation of Sacred Heart and St Mary’s RC Primary Schools Battersea, under a faith-based criteria will need to complete a Supplementary Information Form. Evidence of practice will be measured by frequency of attendance at Mass as validated by either a priest or minister, as was the case prior to 18th March 2020. These arrangements apply to the admissions round for 2024.
